
2022-2023 AAS Competition schedule

EDMONTON, AB – Alberta Artistic Swimming (AAS) is pleased to announce the 2022-2023 Alberta Artistic Swimming Competition Schedule.
The schedule features all five (5) AAS competitive and recreational events hosted with AAS member clubs. The AAS competition season will begin in November with the Virtual Dryland Event kicking the season off, culminating with the 2023 Canadian Championships in May.
Edmonton Auroras is host for Northern Lights January 26-29, 2023 at Kinsmen Pool in Edmonton, AB. Calgary Killarney Artistic Swim Club will host the Rocky Mountain Qualifier from February 23-26, 2023 at Seton YMCA in Calgary, AB. Partnering, Excel and Nova Artistic Swim Clubs will host the Wildrose Classic at Kinsmen Pool, Edmonton, AB on April 21-23, 2023.
“These events are an amazing opportunity to help showcase our athletes across the province. We can’t wait to see our athletes back in competition and performing this season” states AAS Technical Director, Jaime Thompson.
AAS Would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the clubs stepping forward to partner with AAS to host competitions.
“We;re grateful for the continued support from our clubs to host these events alonside Alberta Artistic Swimming,” says Executive Director, Melanie Thompson. “The hard work put forth by our clubs shows in the success of all our competitions. We couldn’t do this without them.”
This schedule follows the announcement earlier this month of the 2023 Canadian Championships to be hosted in Calgary, AB. The Championships are hosted by Canada Artistic Swimming in partnership with Alberta Artistic Swimming and the Calgary Aquabelles.
